Character Portfolios
All character portfolios should be posted in the Characters folder. If you do not know the name of your character off the bat, that's ok, I can change it later.
Thread Contents
First Post
When making your portfolio, the first post of your character thread should contain, at a minimum:
- Character name
- A link to your sheet
- Character species
- Character Force tradition
- Character class(es) and level
- An image of the character
- Personality and Description
I don't care how you format it, feel free to keep it as bullet points or go nuts making it pretty, but at least that information should be there, and easily found.
After the game starts, we're going to fill this post out with an additional section for PC relationships and NPC relationships, so if you are using a crazy format, make sure you leave space for that.
Second Post
The second post of your portfolio will be answers to the following questions.
Give me the basic concept of your character, in two or three sentences.
What does your character consciously want more than anything else?
(Other than escape/freedom, most of you will probably want that.)
What does your character unconsciously need more than anything else?
(Looking mostly at emotional/spiritual needs, here.)
What is your Destiny, and how does it tug at your character?
Give me a 1-2 sentence description of:
- A former mentor in the Force
- A friend or family member who was captured with you
- An enemy or rival from your former life
- An enemy or rival among the Inquisitorius trainees
At game start, all characters will already know and trust each other. With that in mind:
- How does your character interact with the others within the group?
(I'm aware you don't actually know who's in the group yet, so I'm just looking for generalities here.)
- What do you picture as your character's role in the group?
A major theme of the early campaign will be your new master tempting you to the Dark Side and teaching you Sith ways. Do you expect your character to resist the Dark, embrace it, or could they go either way?
(It's important to note: resisting too much will be dangerous, and even characters that are devoted to the Light should at least be prepared to pretend to play along. Idealists who refuse to compromise in the face of death are great, but won't work well in this story.)
