Many within the Empire were familiar with the Inquisitorius - if only enough to fear them. Corrupted Jedi, trained in the Dark Side by Darth Vader himself, they were tasked with hunting down escaped Jedi, political dissidents, and other elite enemies of the Emperor.
But there was a second branch of the Inquisitorius - one kept much quieter by Vader. While the Inquisitorius had been begun by Darth Sidious and only later handed over to his apprentice to command, Vader followed his master's lead and formed his own Inquisitorius, which he called the Inquisitorius Disjunctus. While the primary Inquisitorius was formed of fallen Jedi, the Disjunctus would Force-sensitive children from the wide variety of other Force traditions across the galaxy.
He claimed them personally, in secret, and hid them on the Sith planet of Moraband. Under the tutelage of the mysterious Tor Valum, the apprentices were to be taught the ways of the Dark Side, while still bringing to bear their own unique abilities and approaches to the Force. Once they were strong enough, they would be a power to rival the Inquisitorius, and perhaps the Emperor himself.
But for now, it was going to be all they could do to survive their training.
Welcome to the Inquisitorius Disjunctus.
