The Dwarves of the Mror Holds are a hardy folk, stout and strong. But they do not know their history. Their true origins and records of their people have been lost to the ages. Their history survives in story and legend, where the hero of each story is named for their Clan, rather than their personal name. It is the dream of every dwarf to have their deeds told by the talespinners attributed to their Clan. Dwarves care for their family and strive to bring honor to their Clan and people.

Once the kingdom of Galifar was established, there was no longer a need for a strong military, so the Dwarves utilized their industriousness and rich natural resources and became wealthy from trade. There were struggles with the Jorash'tar orcs, the Lhazaar princes, and even other Dwarf clans, but by and large, it was an Era of peace and prosperity.
